Baptist Health Louisville offers the course "Safe Sitter", a medically accurate program designed to teach boys and girls, ages 11-14 how to be great sitters.
Safe Sitters learn:
Child development
First Aid
Business skills
How to prevent choking
What to do when a child stops breathing or chokes
How to call for emergency help
Basic child care skills, such as diapering and feeding
How to entertain children and keep them safe
Course fee is $30 and payment is taken during the online registration process via credit card.
Students must fill out the Student Registration Form and the Student Contract and submit to [email protected] before coming to class. The links for the forms are below.

Students should bring a lunch, drink and snacks for the day. Social distancing will be in place. Masks are optional. Vending machines are available and students should bring money.
The class will be held at Baptist Innovative Learning Center located at 4007 Kresge Way, Louisville, KY.
