We are excited to offer this free class as a virtual or in-person option. Each class date is EITHER in person or virtual, not both. The in-person option includes a hospital maternity unit tour so it is not necessary to attend a separate tour date.

For this in-person class date (Part 1 and Part 2 offered in one session), 10 am- 3 pm:

• Part 1 (morning) includes signs of labor, anatomy of labor and birth, natural comfort measures, when to come to the hospital, and our hospital tour of the maternity units.
• Part 2 (afternoon) covers the remainder of the hospital stay including pain medication options, vaginal and cesarean birth, and postpartum recovery care.

Class meets in the Baptist Health Lexington Education Center located on the lower level of the 1720 Nicholasville Road building. We will take a 30 minute lunch break. You are welcome to bring snacks, a drink, and/or your lunch or visit the hospital cafeteria. Please do not bring children to class. The best place to park is in the North Parking Garage located behind the hospital. Enter the facility on the ground floor (Entrance G) and follow the hallway to the main lobby, turning left just past the flower vendor. Take the elevators behind the main information desk to the lower level (LL).
