If you are planning a scheduled cesarean section, or just want information about what to expect with a surgical birth, this one-hour virtual class is for you.
Class covers where to check-in, pre-operative preparations, surgery, hospital stay, and postpartum recovery tips. Partners are encouraged to attend, too! Questions can be answered in real time using the chat feature. Updates will include the latest visitation information and photos of the maternity unit and surgical suite.
Immediately after registering, you will receive a confirmation email from Baptist Events & Classes. At class time, click on the the "virtual event URL" in the confirmation email. Reminder email links may direct you to create an account before joining class (the original confirmation email does not do this). You may need to check junk/spam folders. If you do not have access to a computer for class, instructions are available by request for listening in by phone.
