Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The Instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing activities.

WHEN:  Thursday, July 16th, 2026, beginning at 8:00.  Please arrive at 7:50 for drop off and pick up at 12:00 (noon). 

WHERE: Baptist Health Paducah, 2nd Floor of Medical Park 2.  Follow signs to Mother Baby Unit.  The class will be held in the Zimmerman NICU Education Room.

CLASS INFO: Please dress in comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the classroom setting.  It is always a good idea to bring a jacket because it may get a bit chilly in the classroom. It will be an active day learning CPR basics, choking hazards, diaper changing, etc. Students do NOT get CPR certified- we only cover the basics. Snacks will be provided during the class. Please let us know if your child has any food allergies.  If they have a cold, fever, flu-like symptoms, fever blisters, etc. they cannot take the course.   

FEE:  $40 per student. Cash or check is accepted and please bring it on the day of class. Please make checks payable to Baptist Health Paducah.
