This in-person, 2-hour prenatal breastfeeding class is designed to give expectant parents a confident head start. This free class includes:

• expert-led instruction on positioning, latch, infant cues, pumping, and how to know your baby is getting enough milk

• evidence-based videos

• interactive discussion

• hands-on practice using dolls to practice breastfeeding holds and positions

• Q&A with a board-certified lactation consultant

Dads and support partners are encouraged to attend! You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks. 

Directions: Classes are located in Classroom B/C of the Baptist Health Lexington Education Center, located on the lower level of the 1720 Nicholasville Road building. The best place to park is in the North Parking Garage, located behind the left side of the hospital. Enter the facility on the ground level, Entrance G. Follow the hallway past Starbucks and the flower vending machine. Turn left and walk to the main information desk. Take the elevators/stairs behind the main information desk to the lower level (LL). Classroom B/C is located next to the large atrium area.
